During the fall season, are you looking for outreach opportunities that will not only serve as a fun and safe alternative to Halloween but also be an opportunity to introduce kids to Jesus Christ? Mike George, Children’s Pastor at High Point Community Church in Port St. Lucie, Florida shares in this brief episode his experience with an exciting Halloween alternative called Light the Night. Complete details about Light the Night are available online at lightthenightpa.com.
Another great resource for fall outreach events is PowerMark Comics, seeker series issue #7 entitled “Masquerade”. This comic book was created to introduce children to Jesus, the Light of the World, on Halloween night. Featuring the kids from the popular Powermark “Seeker Series”, this 20 page, full-color comic contains an exciting story and a clear presentation of the Gospel. Give them away to “trick-or-treaters” that come to your door or at a church outreach event. For quantity pricing, call 1-877-769-2669. For more details about PowerMark Comics, visit powermarkcomics.com. If you would like to follow-up with Mike to find our more details about how he is using Light the Night, you can drop him an email at mike@highpointcc.org.
Finally, would you like to contribute to Childrens Ministry Training? Maybe you have a training, either in audio, video, PowerPoint, or text format that you’d like to make available for other children’s ministry leaders. If you’re interested in sharing that training with others, send an email to childrensministrytraining@gmail.com.
